Two semi-classic adventure games are available for free on Steam for a limited time

Good look Not every old game has to be labeled “classic” or subjected to extensive remasters and revivals. The Syberia franchise gained formidable prominence among adventure game fans largely because it came out at a time when there weren’t many point-and-clicks to enjoy – and that’s fine. But I enjoy browsing yesterday’s games as much as anyone, and now you can get your hands on the first two Syberias for one unbeatable price.

Syberia and Syberia II are both free on Steam under the respective links. You have until September 29 at 10:00 AM PDT / 1:00 PM EDT / 6:00 PM BST to claim them, but once you do they’ll stay in your library forever, just like any other Game money would buy.

Syberia 3 is also currently being offered at an 85% discount, although it is not particularly appreciated by gamers due to technical and gameplay issues. The fourth game, Syberia: The World Before, will be released this December.
